Mr. Becker was appointed to his current position in October, 2013 and has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Mr. Becker has successfully led large, medium and entrepreneurial companies to substantial growth in fiercely competitive markets. During his career, Mr. Becker has assumed progressive commercial leadership roles for Alcon, Merck, Novartis, OSI Pharmaceuticals, Bayer and BASF. He has launched six products, commercially developed three others, built organizations and obtained investor financing as a senior-level executive. Mr. Becker received a Masters of Business Administration from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Sciences.
Ketan Desai M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Desai joined Levolta Pharmaceuticals in November, 2013 and was most recently the CEO of Renascence Pharmaceuticals. He has 16 years of clinical, regulatory and medical affairs experience. He served as Head of Rheumatology at Aventis Pharmaceuticals and at SmithKline Beecham, Chief Medical Officer at Biothera, and Vice President of Pre-clinical and Clinical Research at Neose Technologies. He has founded three companies, including a profitable radiology company and a biopharm that out-licensed its lead. His areas of expertise include pre-clinical and clinical development of drugs in rheumatology, oncology, anti-infectives, pulmonary and immunology, vaccines, and metabolism.
Renee Stewart Ph.D.

Dr. Stewart joined Levolta Pharmaceuticals in November, 2013 and was most recently the CEO of IMC Biotechnology. She is a biological scientist with expertise in both research and medical labs and a broad range of experience in business, academics and non-profit endeavors.
